MEET SPORT! -- He was found by the Tempe Police Department at the Tempe Sports Complex and brought to Lost Our Home. We looked for his family but no one came for this adorable little fellow! He is a super sweet guy, very shy but underneath it all, a total cuddle bug! We would suggest several meet and greets so this little dude gets comfortable with you. AGELESS – "Old Dogs Rule" and Freddie's rule is put on a tie to look your best for a photo shoot! Can you believe this little Chihuahua-rat terrier mix is 10 years young? Don't tell him because he still thinks he's a puppy! This good-looking guy was turned into Lost Our Home when his dad lost his home and we are lucky to have him! Dear Reader, Peanut here! Here's a summer update my mommy wanted me to let you know about. Summertime is really, really expensive for my favorite shelter, Lost Our Home Pet Rescue. Since it's puppy and kitten season, we get many babies who come in sick and in litters of three to five at a time. Wow, can you imagine that! Mommy said it's really expensive for their medications, vet visits, vaccinations, food and something called litter, (whatever that is). Puppies also need lots of care, potty... Full story
It's official! The paint is dry, the kennels are in place, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony is complete. The Sojourner Center Pet Companion Shelter opened for business in mid-May. We are truly blessed to be part of this wonderful partnership with Sojourner Center. We've cared for pets of families fleeing domestic violence at our shetler since 2008; now pets can stay together with their families at Sojourner Center.
