The Arizona Livestock Loss Board is now allowing ranchers to seek grant funding to assist in employing measures designed to prevent conflicts between cattle and Mexican wolves. At its November meeting, the board unanimously approved the grant program to provide funding to livestock producers wanting to research and develop measures - such as utilizing range riders, fencing or other measures - designed to prevent conflicts. As the New Year began to unfold, the AZ Legislature's 54th Session kicked off with a challenge from Governor Ducey to bring him a bill to help address Arizona's water issues.
