    March 5th, Jennifer Nakatani, a San Diego Angler member, was introduced as the 33rd Miss Yellowtail Derby at the San Diego Angler's monthly meeting by Derby Director John Campbell. The 2013 Miss Yellowtail Derby, Chanelle Innis, presented Jennifer with the sash and a tiara; the tiara was first worn in 1963 by Kathy Harris.     In early February, the National Park Service began accepting applications for noncommercial river trip permits to raft the Colorado River through Grand Canyon National Park.
