The Hunting And Angling Heritage Workgroup (HAHWG) will hold their summer meeting July 22-23 at the Arizona Nordic Village in Flagstaff (was Nordic Center, new owners). Mike Brookes was every bit a man's man. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. His talents included football, track and ice hockey. Mike's interests went beyond the outdoors. He excelled in his high school classes as well as his college classes at Washington State University where he was president of the Independent Students. Viet Nam veteran Darrel Jacobs was a good friend, taken far too early by Huntington's Disease. Darrel is shown with his beloved family: Sue, his life partner, and Lisa, Jessica, and Dara, their daughters. WOODWORKER EXTRAORDINAIRE – We had the honor of knowing the late Peter Schleck in San Diego at Driscoll's Wharf when we lived on our boat and he had a shop just up the pier.
