    It has been decided that we will be hosting an Outdoor Expo April 2-3, 2022.     Three-year-old eagle undergoes surgery to repair broken leg, released at Horseshoe Lake. After a graceful half-mile flight across Horseshoe Lake, the three-year-old bald eagle released back into the wild by Arizona Game and Fish Department and Liberty Wildlife was free once again.     The Arizona Game and Fish Department and Liberty Wildlife released four orphaned baby great horned owls Aug. 3. The owls were rescued after their mother was shot in March by a homeowner in Tolleson. The owlets were raised with the aid of a foster female great horned owl at Liberty Wildlife with the goal of preparing them for releasing.     After months of rehabilitation and preparation, Arizona’s only satellite-tracked bald eagle soared free yesterday when it was released at Roosevelt Lake by Arizona Game and Fish Department biologists and rehabilitation specialists from Liberty Wildlife Rehabilitation of Scottsdale. The 4-year-old male was found at Canyon Lake with a broken wing that required medical treatment.
