The Arizona Game and Fish Department is advising migratory waterfowl hunters that access at Berry Road, on the southeast end of Mormon Lake off FH 3 or Lake Mary Road, will be open for this year's waterfowl hunting season. The 38th annual Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, Wash., kicked off with sunny weather in the mid 70s and more than 300 wooden boats on hand. This is not your typical boat show! Lynx Lake One of our favorite little hikes in the pines is the easy trail #311 that circles Lynx Lake. Most of this trail is shaded by trees, and the lake and the forest around it are gorgeous. We often see a huge variety of birds and small mammals, even in the summer.
