The Lake Havasu Marine Association has been notified that it has received the prestigious Arizona Game and Fish Department Award for Excellence. Marine Association President Jim Salscheider was nominated this year for the award by the Yuma Director of Arizona Game and Fish, Pat Barber. The Arizona Game and Fish Commission has appointed Ty Gray as director of the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The appointment came in a unanimous 5-0 vote at the commission's June 11 meeting. Gray, of Phoenix, has been with Game and Fish for 24 years and is currently the agency's deputy director.
