    OLYMPIA - With spring chinook salmon passing Bonneville Dam in higher numbers than expected, fish managers from Washington and Oregon today agreed to extend the fishing season on the Columbia River for miles below and above the dam.     May 6, 2015 OLYMPIA - Three days of a four-day razor clam dig have been canceled on all ocean beaches because of public health concerns, state shellfish managers said today. The opening will continue as planned Thursday on Long Beach and Twin Harbors beaches after state health officials cleared that day's dig.     May 8, 2015 OLYMPIA - Anyone who took part in the recreational razor clam dig from coastal beaches from Long Beach north to Kalaloch on Thursday, May 7 should destroy all razor clams harvested due to high levels of the marine toxin, domoic acid.     Rick Maxa, fishing off North Mission Bch for Halibut and White Seabass on Monday afternoon saw birds working. He threw a jig out and landed his largest local yellowtail, which was hooked on a Salas 7x light. Rick brought the fish into Seaforth Sportfishing where it was weighed in by RC Newton at 45# 10 oz.
