Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!
Although the national mainstream media continues to bemoan a frustratingly slow economic recovery, exhibitors at the 21st Annual Lake Havasu Boat Show, April 20-22, are certainly doing their part to break out of the slump.
“We’re still a little over two months away from opening the boat show, and we’re very close to running out of available exhibit space,” commented show organizer Bob Brown. “It appears that the boating industry is tired of waiting for Washington to declare the recession is over. Boat manufacturers, local dealers and accessory companies are coming back in high gear and want to get on with their businesses. When you double the number of exhibitors in just one year, you know that something good is beginning to happen.”
Attracting Midwest, East Coast Brands
What is especially encouraging is the attraction that the 2012 Lake Havasu Boat Show has on Midwest and East Coast boat brands. “We have exhibitors bringing product from as far away as Florida, Missouri and New Jersey,” said Brown.
The fact that the Lake Havasu Boat Show and Desert Storm now run concurrently over a nine-day period starting on April 20 has significantly motivated more brands to be involved. By the time the boat show opens, we will have well in excess of one-hundred exhibitors. If you log on to the boat show website at http://www.lakehavasuboatshow.com, you’ll be able to view an up-to-date exhibitor list.”
Also, Speed, Rods, Fishing
In addition to the boat show, attendees will also enjoy two-days (Saturday and Sunday) of exciting offshore powerboat racing, high speed water ski competition and a Legends by the Lake street rod car show with two-hundred vehicles. And not to leave anglers out, a new fishing pavilion with boats, bait, tackle, seminars, demonstrations and special exhibits will also be on display.
For those seriously considering the purchase of a new boat at the boat show, demo rides will be available by appointment starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, and again on Monday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
