BLM to Host National Trails Day Event

Kingman, Ariz. – To celebrate National Trails Day, the Bureau of Land Management Kingman Field Office will host a fun filled day of hiking, biking, or horseback riding on the new Castle Rock connector loop in the Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area (CFRA) on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We are very excited about the completion of this new segment of the trail,” said Kingman Field Manager Ruben Sanchez. “This new loop adds an additional mile of trail in the CFRA giving users the opportunity to discover new vistas and provide feedback on the new segment of trail. We hope the public takes this opportunity to come out and enjoy their public lands whether they walk, ride their bike, or even enjoy the views on horseback.”
