ODFW is Hosting Public Meetings to get Anglers Input on Future Bottomfish and Halibut Fisheries

There are a series of public meetings this week and next to get angler input on the 2014 sport halibut fishery and the 2015 and 2016 sport bottomfish (groundfish) fishery. These meetings are the opportunity for anglers to talk with ODFW about ideas they have for future fisheries.

All meetings will start at 7 pm. They will be

Tuesday, August 6 at the Tillamook ODFW office conference room, 4907 Third St. Tillamook

Wednesday, August 7 at the Newport Holiday Inn Express , 135 SE 32nd St, Newport

Monday, August 12 at the Brookings Best Western Beachfront Inn, 16008 Boat Basin Road, Brookings

Tuesday, August 13 at the North Bend Public Library, 1800 Sherman Ave, North Bend
