Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

Holiday Events Celebrate The Season

State Parks Give The Gift Of Outdoors

Arizona State Parks are celebrating the holidays in December 2013 with two remaining events one at Fort Verde State Historic Park and the other at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park. Besides these beautiful celebrations, other gift ideas are an Annual Pass to all of Arizona's State Parks or a gift certificate to tour the cave at Kartchner Caverns State Park.

Fort Verde State Historic Park

Until Jan. 5, 2014, see the Fort decorated in a Victorian Christmas fashion. Trees and fireplace mantles will be adorned with unique Victorian decorations, with wreaths and garland. For more information call the park at (928) 567-3275.

Riordan Mansion State Historic Park In Flagstaff

The Mansion is festively decorated in turn-of-the-century style with wreaths, garland, greenery and a towering fir tree trimmed with old-fashioned ornaments. Guided tours include glimpses of folklore and traditions of Christmas, both past and present. Reservations are recommended; call (928) 779-4395.

A Gift That Keeps On Giving

The Arizona State Parks Annual Pass is the perfect solution for your entire clan and it is only $75 for the entire year. The Standard Day-Use Annual Pass allows day entrance for up to four adults. A Premium Annual Day-Use Pass is $200 and allows day entrance for up to four adults.
