Arizona State Parks Offers Funding For Motorized Trail Projects Grant Deadline - September 1

(Phoenix, AZ - July 17, 2015) - Arizona State Parks is offering funding from the State Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Fund (OHV) for motorized trail projects.

Available Funds: A maximum of $750,000 from the OHV Recreation Fund will be available to award selected projects. Project sponsors must complete an application package and submit it to State Parks by the deadline on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 5 p.m. Applicants MUST contact the Statewide OHV Program Coordinator, Jeff Prince, at 602-542-6940 or by email jprince(at)azstateparks.gov by AUGUST 14, 2015 to discuss their proposed project.

Eligibility: Eligible applicants include governmental entities (cities, towns, counties, tribal governments, state and federal agencies. Organizations, clubs, businesses, and other groups may enter into a cooperative agreement with an eligible applicant, (e.g. forest land manager), and participate as a third party.
