Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!
Visitors never tire of visiting the vintage ships at the Maritime Museum that are sailed and maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers. Among the Maritime treasures are ships from four different centuries, which include 19th-century Californian, a tops'l schooner; the 18th-century H.M.S. Surprise, a full-rigged British Frigate; the 19th-century three-masted bark Star of India, the 16th-century Spanish Galleon San Salvador, and the 20th-century steam yacht Medea.
In addition to the meaningful visits to view these treasures, the Museum has several special events scheduled in the spring.
