Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!
The year was 1983. Ronald Reagan was President of the United States, while Clint Eastwood coined the phrase, "Go ahead; make my day." Michael Jackson had two blockbuster hits ("Billie Jean" and "Beat It") but it was the Australian rock band Men At Work whose number-one song "Land Down Under" vaunted Australia, which would go on to defeat Dennis Conner's Liberty in the 25th America's Cup.
That same year Sharon Green – a promising, young, and audacious yachting photographer – launched the Ultimate Sailing Calendar, which she sold door-to-door out of the trunk of her car to marine stores, shipyards and chandleries along the Eastern Seaboard.
Thirty-five years later, the ULTIMATE SAILING CALENDAR is still going strong – with the newest 2017 edition now released.
