Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!
Take In These Great Events At The Maritime Museum
Parade Of Lights - Sunday, December 11 And 18
Our annual fundraiser is held aboard the Berkeley steam ferry. Complete with dinner is a spectacular venue for viewing the Parade of Lights on the bay. The theme for this year is San Diego Zoo Celebrates 100 Years. Since the Museum is the judging platform for the Parade of Lights awards, this event is typically a sell-out and its popularity has grown over the years. It is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with friends and family, while supporting the Maritime Museum of San Diego.
Tim Flannery & Friends - December 17
Tim Flannery & Friends will perform their colorful blend of folk, country and traditional music and storytelling aboard Star of India. Some of San Diego's most popular artists have been known to join Tim Flannery for a special night of music such as Eve Selis and Steve Poltz but you never know who might show up this year.
As returning folks will attest to, this is an evening of fun. Come early, find your seat (seating is on a first come, first served basis) and get ready for a great evening of music. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. This is a 21-and-over event. Due to the small venue space this event sells out very quickly!
New Year's Eve Black And Gold - December 31
Celebrate the New Year in style with the Maritime Museum of San Diego at the Black & Gold New Year's Eve Party. Located directly on San Diego bay, you can spend a gorgeous and exciting night with your friends in one of the most unique venues in town. We're transforming the upper event center located on the historic 1898 Steam Ferry Berkeley into a classy lounge, featuring music from the '60s, '70s and '80s, and scrumptious appetizers.
