Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

LOH Presents New Pet Parent Dog Behavior Seminar

You've just adopted your new best friend, now what?  There is so much to learn! Where do you start? Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is offering a free Pet Parent seminar at the shelter to help answer those questions.

Our amazing trainer, Dennis Miner from Omega Dog Training volunteers his time at Lost Our Home to work with some of our more challenging dogs and he also provides training and guidance to staff and volunteers.

What each seminar will cover:

• How animals learn,

• Effective training protocol,

• English vs. "Dogish",

• Core behaviors for every dog,

• Recommended reading, and

• Practical application: Hands-on Demo

The first seminar is on May 6 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you can't make that session, don't worry, there will be another session on May 27 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

If you have any questions, please call (602) 445-7387 or email adoptions@lostourhome.org. Don't miss this free seminar!

NOTE: Volunteers - This seminar replaces the three-session dog training course that was previously offered so feel free to sign up!

IMPORTANT: This is a learning class to "teach" dog owners to be good pet parents. All hands on training will be done with shelter dogs; please leave your own dogs at home. Thanks!
