As autumn arrives, followed by the holidays, and spring is not far behind, the outdoors events are already filling our calendars. Just ahead is “Monster Storm” in October, then the November “Sixth Annual Sand/Water/RV Expo (cover photo), and before we know it, the beautiful lighted boats will be plying the waters in Christmas parades.

And, as 2018 gets underway, one of the Southwest favorites, the International Sportsmen’s Exposition and Arizona Boat Show®, will highlight March.

We at Arizona Boating & Watersports/Western Outdoor Times hope that you will be able to enjoy all these events plus many more to come. The wonders never cease!

BOATING - Women Sailing Is The Focus - Where do women sailors go to learn? The Sailing Convention for Women presented by Gail Hine will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Corona del Mar, Calif.. The daylong ladies-only series of shore- and boat-based workshops offer beginners and experts alike a welcoming environment to learn more about all topics sailing.

WILDLIFE - Watch The Ones You Missed - From highlighting the Sonoran pronghorn recovery to an in-depth look at the making of a wildlife manager, the Arizona Wildlife Views TV show covered a diverse range of wildlife and topics in the last season.
