Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!

2019 Fall Hunt Draw Last For Paper Applications

All Applications Must Be Completed Online Beginning With 2020 Spring Hunt Draw

PHOENIX — The time has come for Arizona’s big game hunters to say goodbye to paper hunt draw applications.

All applicants are reminded that the 2019 fall draw cycle, which is underway, is the last one in which paper applications will be accepted. As the Arizona Game And Fish Department moves toward paperless processes, only online applications will be accepted beginning with the 2020 spring draw, which typically opens in late August or early September.

All paper applications must be received by 7 p.m. (Arizona time), Tuesday, May 14. Those who were planning to mail their paper applications should consider hand-delivering them to any of the seven department offices statewide to ensure they are received by the deadline. The deadline for online applications is 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) June 11.

The department is always striving to deliver online products and services that better serve its customers. By reducing costs — and the amount of time and manpower required to process paper hunt draw applications — the benefit is quicker draw results for hunters and more funding for wildlife conservation.

Other advantages of applying online include:

It’s easy. Visit http://www.azgfd.gov/draw and get started.

Online applications can be submitted from home or work. No driving, no mailing.

Applying online reduces the chances for errors (applicants still need to read their options closely).

It’s easy to donate to the Big Game Habitat Fund and benefit wildlife populations.

For questions regarding the online application service, customer service representatives are available by phone (602-942-3000) or in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at all department offices statewide.
