Five years have elapsed since the last time Star of India sailed, so the opportunity to join her under sail this November makes this an a more unique experience!
The Saturday, Nov.11 and Sunday, Nov. 12 Star of India sailing celebration includes the opportunity to sail aboard three legendary sailing vessels surrounding Star on this historic occasion as she sails through San Diego Bay and heads out off Point Loma.
You can reserve tickets aboard three vessels including -
• Maritime Museum's Californian, the official tall ship schooner of the state
• Maritime Museum's San Salvador, the 1542 Spanish galleon replica
• Visiting vessel South Bay-based Bill of Rights, 136′ gaff-rigged schooner, designed around the lines of the 1856 America's Cup schooner
Tickets are $269.00 per person and include catered lunch, snacks, and soft drinks/water. No-host cash-only bar. Each ship will include an on-board historian to deepen guests' understanding of Star of India, and the history behind all vessels and the Museum.
Check-in ends at 9:30 a.m. Ships are expected to return to the Museum at 5:00 p.m.
