Times Spent Outdoors: Priceless!
AZGFD Expo, And 'Etc.' Ahead
As we move further into 2025, there are so many events to enjoy. Ahead are the always popular Arizona Game & Fish Expo, the wild and wonderful Renaissance Festival, and the thrilling and colorful Dragon Boat Races. And, there's so much more as the weather reaches "perfect" levels to get outdoors.
Although the Expo is next month, it's not too early to plan ahead to attend. When you are there, activities abound for all interests: from a kid's fishing pond to seminars on a plethora of wildlife species and outdoor sports to chances to test your skills in shooting sports. Prepare for a very active and informative visit.
Also in March dragon boats will race on Tempe Town Lake. These paddle craft have an interesting history, and it is fascinating to watch the competition between skilled, dedicated boaters. Each craft is also "eye candy" itself: colorful and unique.
Last, but by no means least, is the Ren Faire. This wild and wonderful event began early this month and remains a favorite crowd pleaser. As always, the jousting, artisans, and performers keep visitors enthralled February 1 through March 30. This year, if you have not yet attended this event, you might want to try The Pleasure Feast described on this page. It is truly something to be savored: delicious and full of raucous revelry.
Enjoy them all!
