April 30 Welcome Home Vietnam Vets!
April 30 - Welcome Home Vietnam Vets!
VFW Post 3513, Scottsdale
Get ready, folks, because our Welcome Home celebration is just around the corner, and the excitement is in the air! We're putting the finishing touches on what promises to be an unforgettable day, and we want YOU to be a part of it! If you know of any organizations related to Vietnam and its impact, don't hesitate to reach out and invite them to join us in this meaningful celebration.
This event is not just a celebration; it's a fantastic opportunity for education and understanding about the Vietnam War and its lasting effects. And hey, if you're looking to roll up your sleeves and help out (e.g., on this Day of Service), we'd love to have you!
Just contact us(480-941-9849)for all the info on volunteering. Trust us, this heartfelt gathering is something you won't want to miss-let's make some memories together! So mark your calendars, spread the word, and let's honor our military history while connecting as a community!
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, a poignant reminder of the Vietnam War's profound impact on our nation and its veterans. Many brave men and women served with honor, yet upon their return, they were met with challenges that left deep scars, both seen and unseen.
It is time to finally give them the welcome home they so richly deserve, celebrating their sacrifices and resilience half a century later. As we gather to honor the memory of those who served-and those who never returned-we invite our community to join us in this momentous occasion, fostering camaraderie and support for our veterans and their families who have endured so much, including the struggles of PTSD that many faced long before it was understood.
This is an event you won't want to miss as we come together to express our gratitude and respect for their unwavering dedication to our American values.
